(Above) Today’s Wordle was OPERA. My favorite opera is Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammamor, especially the mad scene. My favorite version was in the 1997 movie The 5th Element where it is performed by a blue Alien in the Diva Dance (YouTube).
Donizetti (1797-1848) was quite a guy: bipolar, had syphilis and gave it to his 13-year-old wife, which they both died from.
In my dream, there was a giant frog watching me sleep.
The Wordle was PIXIE so I drew an Art Pixie with her little artist’s beret, wings and magic wand.
In my dreams, I headed out on a trail, on a donkey, to go buy ink. I was a little obsessed with fountain pens and inks and I guess that was showing up in my dreams.
At the beginning of the year I decided that my word of the year would be CHOOSE and each day I would choose a word to inspire my day. But I often forget, hence the notes to myself on this page.
