Thanks Claudia. Your “gravatar” image of the pretty bow — is that a scarf of yours? It’s so beautiful—a gorgeous little abstract painting on its own. I hope you have a happy Sunday too! It’s a bit cool and foggy and cloudy here today (near the Golden Gate Bridge) but hopefully the sun will come out soon. If not…there’s always daffodils!

Jana, I opened my email last night to your sunny painting! The daffodils and lemon are wonderful! I can tell you have a lot of experience painting them. The values are spot on.

That’s about the best compliment you could give me since I struggle mightily with values…doesn’t come naturally. Thanks for the comment about the white too…I’m learning how white is almost never white and sometimes is way darker than you’d think.
